Employee Spotlight: Angela Mueller
Angela Mueller, a veteran of the journalism world, brought nearly two decades of experience with her when she joined Kaleidoscope Management Group’s team last spring. Angela speaks to why she loves working at Kaleidoscope Management Group (KMG) and her life outside of work below.
Q: What is your experience and what brought you to KMG?
A: I I spent two decades working as a journalist. I worked at dailies, weekly newspapers and magazines, but most of the time I spent at the St. Louis Business Journal as both a reporter and editor covering a wide range of topics with a special focus on health care. I came to KMG for a chance to put my knowledge and skills to work in a new way.
Q: What makes a work day fulfilling for you?
A: When I can put our company tagline- bringing the complex into focus- into practice. I like to take a complex issue involving a wide range of information and find a way that is simple and compelling to communicate it for a client.
Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?
A: Telling great stories one way or another!
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I like to spend time with my husband and three kids. Keeping up with all their activities keeps us all on the move, and I am very involved with their school and our church. I also volunteer with an organization called GriefShare, which helps people who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: I grew up on a multi-generational family farm that is still operated today by my uncles and cousins.
