Kaleidoscope Management Group is pleased to welcome the newest member of our team, Sarah Bumgardner, as a project manager. Sarah recently moved to St. Louis from Lexington, Kentucky, where she worked in multiple industries including energy, manufacturing and nonprofit management. She brings expertise in marketing communications, website management, event planning and project management, among other skills.
Most recently, Sarah was the marketing and events manager at the Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Association, where she developed marketing campaigns, served as editor for the association’s quarterly magazine and coordinated all the association’s events and meetings. Prior to that, she was new the new market development specialist for Ale-8-One Bottling Co., the manufacturer of the Ale-8-One line of soft drinks.
“Working in multiple industries has offered me a diverse perspective and I appreciate the opportunity
to connect with a variety of clients,” Sarah said. “I was fortunate to implement new programs at every place I’ve worked, which has allowed me to leave a footprint at each organization.”
For example, Sarah helped the Ale-8 brand expand its distribution footprint to new markets. The family-owned brand previously was not available outside of Kentucky, and Sarah was responsible for crafting agreements to grow distribution into Southern Illinois and St. Louis. The brand is now available locally at Schnucks, thanks in large part to Sarah’s efforts. For the record, Sarah says Ale-8 is still her favorite beverage!

Sarah has a bachelor’s in communications with a focus on advertising and public relations from Morehead State University. The St. Louis transplant is already in love with her newly adopted hometown. As a downtown resident, she said she is particularly enjoying City Garden and all the downtown dining options.
“I’ve lived in Kentucky my whole life, so I was excited about the opportunity to spread my wings,” Sarah said. “I love being in St. Louis, where there are so many things to do and places to explore.” Sarah explored opportunities with a handful of St. Louis companies, but after connecting with KMG knew she had found the right fit for the next step in her career.
“When I talked to Cabanne, I could feel her energy and her passion, and I knew this was where I wanted to be,” Sarah said.
